An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor with a minimum of 10 year PQE to join our Banbury office. The successful candidate will communicate with clients, referrers, agents, lenders, other parties Solicitors and mortgage brokers.

This exciting position at our ambitious law firm in the heart of England will be joining the growing Residential team to support the high workload of the fee earners and ensure clients are responded to in a timely manner.

Job Role:

This varied role is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly and approachable team, working with highly experienced Secretaries, Solicitors, and Directors.

Responsibilities of the role would include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to client queries in a timely manner.
  • Overseeing complex exchanges and completions.
  • Negotiation of legal documents.
  • Drafting documents including Leases, Transfers, and Report on Title.

 

Key Requirements and Duties:

  • Ideal candidates will have a broad range of conveyancing experience including the following areas:
    • Sale & Purchase
    • Freehold and Leasehold
    • Shared Ownership
    • Help to Buy
    • Right to buy
    • New Build
  • To have a network of referrers
  • To have the ability to recognise and to develop existing and new relationships with agents and introducers.
  • To have excellent communication and team building skills
  • To be a team player.
  • To ensure that high levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
  • To ensure that the Departmental Director is made aware of any cases where there is reason to believe that it may lead to a problem or complaint.
  • To ensure the confidentiality and security of all Firm and client documentation and information.
  • To undertake any specific training when required to do so.
  • To be able to demonstrate proactivity and attention to detail.
  • To be able to demonstrate organisational and time management skills, and an ability to cope with changing levels of workloads.
