As compliance requirements in regulated sectors continue to grow, Spratt Endicott has recruited Rachael in order to meet increasing demand.
Rachael is an expert in SRA and FCA compliance. A qualified solicitor and member of Lincoln’s Inn, Rachael has been working in compliance since 2012 and has accrued a wealth of experience, having previously worked at Gordon Dadds LLP and GM Financial Plc.
As Risk, Quality and Compliance Manager, she will be responsible for the management and direction of regulatory issues such as: Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery, Corruption and the upcoming changes to the Data Protection Act 1998.
Rachael will also be responsible for maintaining Spratt Endicott’s ISO 9001 accreditation, which helps to ensure the ongoing quality of its services and the effective management of processes. Spratt Endicott is dependent on quality throughout the business, and Rachael’s role will help guarantee consistent delivery.
She will also be tasked with identifying and reporting on possible areas of risk, as well as overseeing client feedback and on the level of service provided.
Her appointment means that Spratt Endicott has in place an effective compliance programme that helps minimise risk to both the business and its clients, while also providing guidance on quality management to ensure continued excellence of service.
Rachael said: “I’m excited to be joining Spratt Endicott Solicitors, a firm that enjoys a fantastic reputation. I look forward to bringing my experience in the industry to what is already a very strong team.”
She continued: “Good compliance means good business. There are numerous benefits to having in place an effective compliance programme, for both the firm and its clients. It will allow us to align our operating strategy, streamline business processes and put in place integrated risk and control activities.”
John Spratt, Chairman of Spratt Endicott Solicitors, said: “We are all very pleased to welcome Rachael as a new member of our team, and we look forward to working with her to safeguard our clients’ interests and consolidate the firm’s structure as it grows.”
He continued: “As the firm continues to grow, we now have 140 people working in four towns; we also continue to strengthen our management structure to accommodate this growth.”
