We recently advised on a substantial investment by four private individuals in a company engaged in the provision of sport supplements. Some of the shareholders in the investee company included well known sports stars.
The documentation had been negotiated and prepared by Hitendra Patel on the basis that further investments would be forthcoming from a further investor.
The investment was made under the EIS Investment Scheme affording the investors certain capital gains and income tax relief.
