The merger means that Spratt Endicott now have 13 partners and over 100 staff, across five offices in Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. This will significantly enhance the legal services available to those clients engaged in all property-based matters.
Our property departments are as follows:
Commercial Property
Partner Andrew Woods leads our Banbury-based team. Andrew is ranked in Chambers 2015 as a Leading Individual, and noted for his expertise in large portfolio acquisitions and disposals, strategic land acquisitions, and landlord and tenant matters. The department is strengthened by the arrival of new partner Howard Meakin, formerly a partner at Alfred Truman. Howard will specialise in Commercial Property from the Bicester office, and will bring over 30 years’ experience in law, and a wealth of contacts and knowledge of the Bicester area, to the team.
Residential Property
Post-merger, we now have specialist conveyancing teams in Buckingham and Bicester, to add to our Banbury and Brackley ones. Our reach extends across three counties, and our combined resources mean we now have a comprehensive database of contacts within these areas. David Inch is the Head of Residential Property, and has over 30 years’ experience of all residential property matters, having acted for thousands of clients over the years.
Agriculture and Estates
Chris Goldingham, partner, is a versatile property lawyer who deals with high-end and complex property transactions. Chris is joined in the Agriculture and Estates department by Helen Ross, a solicitor since 1978 who joined Spratt Endicott at the beginning of 2014. Our Agriculture and Estates department is recommended in The Legal 500 2014.
Landlord and Tenant
Kyle Wyness is our Landlord and Tenant expert within the Dispute Resolution department. Kyle has considerable experience in property-related disputes, representing both landlords and tenants, and has given talks at National Landlord Association meetings. Kyle will have access to all of the contacts and relationships built up by Spratt Endicott Truman in the Bicester and Buckingham areas.
On the merger, John Spratt, Senior Partner of Spratt Endicott Solicitors, said: “This merger is between two established law firms who want to work together in offering clients a broader range of expertise and improved access to that expertise. Our vision is to maintain and grow our reputation as a respected law firm delivering personalised legal services. We want to enjoy success and growth for our clients, our firm and our business partners.”
