Who are Historic Houses?

Historic Houses represents more than 1,500 privately owned historic homes, castles, and gardens across the UK. These properties, often passed down through generations, are vital to preserving Britain’s architectural and cultural heritage. Historic Houses provides expert guidance, advocacy, and support to ensure these estates remain accessible and well-maintained for future generations.

This new membership opens the door to deeper engagement with Historic Houses and its members, particularly in the Thames and Chilterns region- a landscape rich in heritage and historic significance.
