Christine is an independent tax consultant to the Company Commercial department. She has worked with the team for many years, further strengthening the knowledge and expertise of the team. Christine has nearly 30 years’ experience in UK corporate tax law, advising in a wide range of corporate and commercial contexts. She provides advice on the UK corporate tax issues arising in the context of mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations, and management buy-out/buy-ins.
Christine also advises on tax issues for individual vendors of owner-managed businesses and structuring for management tax issues arising in the buy-out context, employee share incentives (approved and non-approved employee share incentive schemes (including EMI schemes) are a related area which Christine is able to assist with.
Christine has significant experience of drafting tax-related documentation and negotiating on behalf of clients.
