David Hayter

David is a Trainee Solicitor currently completing his first seat with the Commercial Property team, based in our Banbury office.

Prior to joining SE-Solicitors in 2026, David worked as a Paralegal in Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP’s high-volume Litigation and Dispute Management department, and alongside Thames Valley’s Circuit Judges as a Listings Officer for HMCTS.

Before his career in law, David worked within the music industry for Lily Allen’s ITNO Records and as a freelance journalist, appearing on the BBC and in the Guardian.

In 2026, David obtained an LLM from the University of Law, having previously completed a PGDL at BPP. Before converting to law, he qualified as a journalist and holds an MA in Politics and BA in War Studies from the University of Kent.

David is also a member of SE-Solicitors’ Social Committee. Outside the office, David enjoys countryside walking, live music, reading and quizzing.
