Patrick is a Director and dedicated Family lawyer who leads the highly respected family law team across the Banbury and Bicester offices. He deals with divorce and separation issues and has worked on a number of high-value and property-related matters including agricultural holdings and estates. Patrick strives to resolve disputes without court intervention, although he has conducted a broad variety of matters over recent years, both in and out of court.
Patrick was appointed as Managing Director of SE-Solicitors in Summer 2024, having joined in March 2006. His passion for delivering service excellence, teamed with his astute commercial acumen, acquired prior to his legal career from experiences in London and regional businesses, is well-placed to drive the continued success of the firm.
Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2008, Patrick has worked exclusively in Family Law. As Head of SE-Solicitors’ Family Law Practice, Patrick has successfully grown his department into a leading family team in the region, more than doubling its size. Patrick trained as a Mediator in 2011 and has been a Resolution Accredited Family Law Specialist since 2016. He writes regularly on Family Law for legal websites and other publications.
Patrick is deeply committed to developing the next generation of legal talent within the firm. He also serves on Oxford Brookes University’s Law Faculty Advisory Board, contributing to curriculum development and initiatives that help prepare students to thrive as the next generation of lawyers.
Patrick was admitted to the roll of solicitors in Ireland in 2018. Prior to joining SE-Solicitors, he worked in Sales and Marketing in London from 1994 and in Language Training and Development in Oxford from 1997.
Outside of work Patrick enjoys spending time with his family and walking in the Lake District.
