After an 842-day hiatus, the AJ Bell Women’s Tour returns on Monday with a Grand Départ in Oxfordshire.
The 147.7-kilometre stage runs between the historic market towns of Bicester and Banbury, with the finish line located within sight of the world-famous Banbury Cross.
Among those set to race in Oxfordshire are Lizzie Deignan (Trek – Segafredo), winner of the inaugural Paris – Roubaix on Saturday, and newly-crowned world road race champion Elisa Balsamo (Valcar – Travel & Service).
