Our private client team were pleased to continue involvement with Katharine House Hospice, supporting the 10th anniversary of their will writing scheme. The campaign raises thousands of pounds for the charity annually and we are proud to have participated every year since its establishment in 2012.
The Katharine House Make a Will Fortnight (MAWF) ran from 3-14 October 2022. For the duration of the scheme, our solicitors, asked clients to donate the cost of making a will to Katharine House Hospice, raising a grand total of £2,250 for the charity.
Katharine House Hospice is a charity close to our hearts, as several of our clients, family and friends have benefited from the care provided by the hospice over the years. We firmly believe in supporting this initiative as it is so important to write a will, so that your family knows your wishes after you have died, giving clarity at what will inevitably be a very difficult time.
In the 10 years that Katharine House Hospice has run their will writing scheme over £120,000 has been raised and over 500 wills have been written by local participating solicitors. We are proud to have participated in the campaign and are thrilled to have raised money for a charity doing such important work.
Well done to the private client team!
