As trainee solicitors at SE-Solicitors, we are excited to participate in the Accumulator Challenge to support Katharine House Hospice, a charity close to our hearts. This unique fundraising initiative challenges participants to creatively grow an initial sum of money into something much greater, all in the name of a worthy cause.
In keeping with the spirit of sustainability and community involvement, one of the ways we chose to raise funds is through a donation drive. Colleagues have generously donated items such as clothing, accessories, books, games, electronics and many more, which we are selling on online platforms. This approach not only raises money but also gives pre-loved items a new lease on life, reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices.
Our efforts align with the growing awareness of the environmental impact of fast fashion and disposable goods. By encouraging reuse and reselling, we are not only supporting the hospice but also contributing to a greener planet. Every item sold is a win-win: a step toward sustainability and vital funds for Katharine House Hospice’s essential work in providing care and support for those in need.
We found inspiration in the tremendous support, generosity and enthusiasm of our colleagues, and we are excited to see how far we can go in this challenge.
