Tessa de Klerk

Tessa is a Trainee Solicitor completing her first seat in the Family team, where she assists on a broad range of family law matters.

Tessa joined SE-Solicitors in September 2026, having recently completed an internship at CEDR, one of the UK’s leading mediation providers. This experience provided her with valuable insight into alternative dispute resolution and the importance of helping parties navigate sensitive issues constructively.

In 2025, Tessa completed the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL), a highly regarded postgraduate law degree, at Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford, with Merit. She also holds a First Class LLB with Honours from the University of Buckingham and was awarded several academic prizes in recognition of her outstanding undergraduate performance. Tessa is currently studying part-time for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).

Tessa is also a member of the SE Social Committee. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and baking.
