Spratt Endicott Solicitors recently joined Katharine House Hospice’s Make a Will campaign, raising over £2,500 in the process.
Throughout the campaign, solicitors Lucy Gordon, Tom McInerney, Julia Routen, and Victoria Upton all saw clients wishing to write or update a will for free, and asked for a donation to the hospice in Bodicote instead of charging a fee.
Lucy Gordon, Head of Private Client at Spratt Endicott Solicitors said:
“Katharine House provides such a vital service to so many people both locally and further afield, so we are incredibly proud to have been involved this campaign over a number of years. Katharine House provides a vital service to so many people. Lots of our staff have had family and friends use Katharine House so it is an organisation very close to our heart as well.
“Our clients are able to save money on the drafting of their will while also protecting the future of a charity that does so much good for so many people. It is so important to ensure that you you’re your affairs in order before you are gone, and writing a will means that your family know your wishes after you are gone, giving them peace of mind at what will inevitable be a very difficult time for them.”
Spratt Endicott Solicitors’ Private Client team provides a range of services from will writing and amending to estate planning and probate administration. The team are also experienced in advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and other Court of Protection work.
