Spratt Endicott celebrates Legal 500 success

We are delighted for our recent success in the annual Legal 500 rankings and recommendations. 

The 2023 edition rankings recognised 10 of our specialist practice areas and recommended 26 of our lawyers including one Hall of Fame, one Next Generation Partner, one Leading Individual and two Rising Stars.

The results reflect our standing as a leading law firm in the heart of England. Working in partnership with individuals and organisations, we provide high quality and tailored legal advice, finding pragmatic solutions to empower clients to meet demanding challenges, achieve positive outcomes and realise success.

Tier 1

Our Debt Recovery team retained the highest top tier ranking for another year. The Debt Recovery department works with a huge portfolio of regional, national, and international clients to recover commercial, consumer and international debt.  The Legal 500 described this high-ranking department as ‘informative, proactive and knowledgeable’ and accurately reflects the high-quality expertise our team provides and brings a great sense of achievement to our firm.

Our Private Client Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate received a Tier 2 ranking with Employment, Agriculture and Estates, Contentious Trusts and Probate, Family, Commercial Property being ranked at Tier 3 and Corporate and Commercial, Dispute Resolutions, Insolvency and Corporate Recovery receiving a Tier 4 placement.

Leading Lawyers

In total, The Legal 500 commended 26 of our talented lawyers including giving special recognition to a number of legal specialists including Pete Gardner, Senior Associate and team leader of Debt Recovery who retained his title as a Next Generation Partner.

Our private client team dealing in high quality Will, Trusts and Estate legal advice shined in this year’s guide. Practice head, Lucy Gordon was recognised as a leading individual with clients describing her as ‘an excellent lawyer who will find a sensible solution to any problem and do so in the most efficient manner’.

Widely regarded for his private client legal expertise, David Endicott was selected for the ‘The Hall of Fame’ for another year.

The title of ‘Rising Stars’ for their outstanding contributions to their specialism were awarded to Catherine O’Riordan, Associate Solicitor advising SME and Corporate businesses plus Jennie Loynes, Association Solicitor who works in partnership with Agriculture and Estate clients, advising on complex rural property sales, succession planning and structuring of farming businesses.
