The Department for Work and Pensions has launched, in July 2023, a new free website aimed “to help older workers with financial planning, health guidance, and to assess what their skills mean for their careers and futures.” The website is aimed at people aged 45 to 65 but anyone of any age can use it.
An in-person Midlife MOT service was originally launched in Jobcentres in England and this digital version is aimed at reaching more people and to raise awareness about available support. This is part of the Government’s wider package to help older workers find and access employment opportunities as well as helping older workers already in employment which was announced in 2022.
