Our Private Client team are pleased to have once again participated in Katharine House Hospices’ Make a Will Fortnight campaign. The scheme raises thousands of pounds for the charity every year and we are proud to continue our support of the campaign, having taken part every year since the first Make a Will Fortnight in 2012.
For the duration of the fortnight, our Private Client Solicitors waive their fees to write or amend a Will, instead asking for the cost of the fees to be donated to Katharine House Hospice.
Since its inception in 2012, the campaign has raised nearly £130,000 for the charity, and over 540 Wills have been written by participating solicitors. This year through our involvement with the scheme we were able to raise over £1500 for the charity.
We are particularly pleased to support Katharine House Hospice as we strongly believe in the importance of the work that they do. They assist over 800 people annually, of which over 170 are cared for in their hospice beds. It is vital that they continue to receive funding and support in order to be able to be able to continue their valuable work.
Well done to Katharine House Hospice and our Private Client team!
