SE-Solicitors is celebrating its continued recognition in the 2027 edition of The Legal 500 UK guide, one of the legal profession’s most respected independent benchmarks of excellence.

The firm is ranked in 10 practice areas, with 25 lawyers individually recognised for their expertise, including 7 professionals who have received special distinctions. Alongside this individual success, SE-Solicitors has retained its Top Tier ranking for Debt Recovery and maintained Tier 2 rankings in both Family and Private Client.

A Standout Year for Individual Recognition

This year, however, particular cause for celebration comes from the firm’s increased individual recognition, with more Leading Partners, Leading Associates and Recommended Lawyers recognised than in last year’s guide.

Seven SE-Solicitors lawyers have received prestigious Legal 500 distinctions, reflecting the depth of talent, expertise and commitment found across the firm.

Guy Stephenson, Director of our Agriculture team, has achieved Leading Partner status for the first time, recognising his expertise in transactional matters concerning country houses and rural estates.

Richard Gwynne has been recognised as a Leading Partner for the second consecutive year, highlighting both his personal expertise and his leadership of the firm’s Top Tier Debt Recovery team.

Lucy Gordon, Director of the Private Client team, retains her Leading Partner ranking for a fifth consecutive year, further cementing her position as one of the region’s leading specialists in trusts, estate planning and generational wealth protection.

The firm is also delighted to celebrate the success of Andy Goater, who has been named a Leading Associate for the first time. Tina McLaren retains her Leading Associate ranking for a second year, while Tom McInerney continues to be recognised in the same category.

In addition, David Endicott has once again been inducted into the Hall of Fame, a highly prestigious award reserved for lawyers who have consistently demonstrated excellence and leadership in their field over many years. Following his retirement earlier this year, it is wonderful to see his achievements recognised once again.

Commenting on the results, Patrick Mulcare, Managing Director of SE-Solicitors said:

“We are incredibly proud of this year’s Legal 500 results. While our retained practice area rankings are a fantastic achievement, it is particularly rewarding to see so many of our lawyers recognised individually. I’d like to thank our clients and professional partners for their feedback and trust, and congratulate our talented lawyers and staff whose hard work and expertise continue to set us apart.”

These latest rankings build on an already strong year for the firm, which was recently named the 6th most recommended law firm in the South East by Legal 500 analysis. Together, these achievements highlight the depth of expertise across the firm and our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
