We are thrilled to have once again participated in this years Santa Fun Run! This cherished tradition sees our team come together annually to support Katharine House Hospice, a cause that is very close to our hearts.
Katharine House Hospice is a cornerstone of our Banbury community, providing exceptional end-of-life care to patients and their families. Their dedicated team offers personalised physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support to approximately 1,200 people each year, with 245 of these receiving care in their own hospice beds. Katharine Houses’ vital services require £14,500 daily to operate, making every fundraising effort crucial.
Despite a last-minute location change due to Storm Conall, this year’s Santa Fun Run saw a fantastic turnout. Local businesses and individuals donned their Santa suits to raise funds and awareness for this important cause. The festive atmosphere was fantastic, with participants of all ages coming together to support the hospice.
Three of our dedicated team members completed the 5km run, raising £130 for Katharine House Hospice. Their commitment and enthusiasm were truly inspiring, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts. We are already looking forward to next year’s event, eager to continue our support for this invaluable charity and to make an even bigger impact.
