SE-Solicitors Welcomes Jonathan Heskia to our Corporate & Commercial Team

SE-Solicitors is delighted to share that Jonathan Heskia has joined our Oxford office as Director in the Corporate & Commercial team.

With more than 25 years’ experience advising businesses across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, Jonathan joins SE-Solicitors having held Partner, Consultant and Group General Counsel roles at Temple Bright, Stone King and Lyons Davidson, adding further strength to our growing commercial offering in Oxfordshire and beyond.

Jonathan’s experience spans complex commercial contracts,  data protection and mergers and acquisitions. He has developed particular expertise in healthcare, food, manufacturing and technology sectors, while also advising SMEs across a wide range of industries.

One area where Jonathan is particularly excited to add value is data protection. As organisations face increasing scrutiny around governance, compliance and information management, Jonathan’s experience in data protection policy, governance frameworks, multi-jurisdictional data-sharing arrangements and contractual compliance strengthens an increasingly important area of SE-Solicitors’ commercial service offering.

“Data protection is no longer just a compliance issue,” he explains. “It’s a business issue. Organisations need practical advice that helps them manage risk while enabling growth and innovation. That’s where we can really help.”

While Jonathan’s career has taken him from the City of London to Bristol, Bath and now Oxford, his approach has remained remarkably consistent: understanding clients, building trusted relationships and providing clear, practical advice that helps businesses make informed decisions.
